We both work full time and just didn't have the free time to teach him the basic manners of sitting, down, stay, walking on a leash, heel, etc. I found CK9 by doing some online research and reading all of the great reviews. We could not be happier! EJ trained Odin and really nailed his personality and how to deal with him. He likes to dominate, he is not aggressive, he just thinks he's a prince! It's hilarious really. The training really toned down his dominant attitude without changing his personality. He is still a goofball puppy, but now he is controllable and has manners. Now the work to keep him up to speed on his training. And we will. We could not recommend CK9 enough. My baby is not a puppy and a rescue so I wasn't sure how she would take to training. Heidi was amazing. She walking me through the process before hand and helped me identify any specific behaviors I wanted to work on that wasn't already a part of the program. On check-out day she took me through everything we talked about before and how my baby did during her 2 weeks. They even gave me a video of her following the commands for reference if I needed it later. She helped me understand what to expect and how I could continue to help my dog master her new skills. She even took me through the process with my dog as well to help talk me through any minute details or habits I seemed inclined to do. She was absolutely wonderful and answered all my questions (and I do tend to talk a lot lol). Since I've had my baby back I can definitely say there has been a massive improvement. We are still working on consistency, but honestly even with where she is now it was worth every penny!!Posted onVerified I was in a transition period with my dogs, I knew we would be losing my oldest and I didn't want my 2 year old Frenchie to be alone after she was gone. We got a puppy, Mini Schnauzer. My two year old is your typical Pandemic Puppy AND Frenchie..he was spoiled and bad. He's still spoiled but now he's selectively bad. In the best possible way. They laid an incredible foundation for his reactive nature and lack of socialization and real world experience due to the pandemic. I sent the puppy to Heidi and EJ two weeks after picking my Frenchie up and holy smokes. They laid the perfect foundation to build on and we work every day to reframe the older dogs life and to build the proper balanced world for the puppy and the difference in my quality of life is worth everything. My dogs were the embarrassing dogs on the block...no more.

She is super energetic and has very really bad separation anxiety. Heidi and EJ addressed all of those issues (and also general training) but more importantly, they trained us on how work with her. I wanted to wait a couple of weeks after our 8-mth-old puppy, Emma, completed training to write this review. Emma isn't our first dog or our first puppy; we had many over the years and were always able to train them ourselves. Most of our fur-babies have been rescues and Emma is no different so we didn't think training her would be any different, but boy, were we wrong. We weren't prepare for her particular personality. It was clear to us we needed help this time. Our first attempt at professional training was positive-only, treat-driven training and while it may work for some pups it was a epic failure for us. It had gotten to the point we weren't even in control of our home and were simply reacting to what she was doing, which was mostly being destructive. It had gotten so bad we were seriously considering re-homing her, which we had never done before and were feeling pretty miserable even thinking about. Then Complete K-9 happened! EJ and Heidi worked a miracle on our little girl and that's not an exaggeration. i couldn't believe the pup we picked up was the same pup we dropped off. She was calm, focused, and listened to commands. Their training method is a balance of positive and negative reinforcement, but also based in dog psychology. Per EJ and Heidi's instructions we continue to work with Emma about 10-15 minutes per day, five days a week and she only continues to get better. We sent my 1 year old dog peaches there two weeks ago and she is a COMPLETELY different dog. Our biggest issue was she was very afraid of the leash/harnesses, and I could not take her on any walks, she would literally have a anxiety attack if I put it on her and tried to drag her out the front door. It is not often that I write a review or respond to a survey. But on occasion you find a service or business that is so superior that I feel compelled to speak up. I have an English Labrador that I got when he was 8 weeks old. I thought that I could train him, and I spent the next year trying to do just that. Cruz is a fun puppy and very lovable. He also had no respect for me and was super obstinate when asked to do what I wanted him to do. I wasn’t having fun and he wasn't either and I made the decision that both he and I needed professional help. So away he went to be trained at CK-9 Training in Burleson, Tx. It was a twelve day course where he lives with the Trainers in their home. When I dropped Cruz off Heidi met me and spent an hour wanting to know about Cruz and me as well. Heidi explained what was going to take place with Cruz. I was skeptical because I know Cruz. Cruz has returned home after training and we have been back together for a few weeks now. It's March 2025. Well CK-9 training was so much more than I expected. Super Professional, super clean facilities, great communication. They just did a fantastic job with Cruz and me. I will close by saying Cruz came home with respect for me and willing to continue all his training he had been taught. It is remarkable how well trained they are. EJ did the training and while I was apprehensive about leaving them with complete strangers for a long period of time, I was completely at ease once I met Heidi and EJ and learned about their training techniques. These pups are still my silly pups but well mannered and a joy to be around! I highly recommend Complete K9 Training.
